The Rice Electric Company is a family owned business and has been under the current ownership for over 40 years. Since being purchased in 1980 by Joseph P. Femiani, the company has continually expanded its capabilities and has been extremely dedicated to customer service.
1940-1985 // HANNA STREET
Established in 1933 as a small electric motor repair shop, we have increased our repair capabilities to include large and medium voltage electric motors up to 5000 HP, controls, pumps, and all types of industrial equipment.
1985 - 2002 // ROSEWOOD AVENUE
In earlier years our customers were primarily local factories in glass and steel, local municipalities, and commercial contractors.
2002 - PRESENT // LINNWOOD ROAD
As a result of continual growth and diversification, in 2002 we expanded by building our current facility on a 7 acre site increasing our capabilities once again, and facilitating our ability for future growth.
